Getting started

What can I send you?

Paper logbooks, airline or charter journey logs, and crew-log printouts. You can upload photos or PDF scans of the pages, or mail us the paper books and we scan them for you.

What do I get back?

Your logbook file for the app you chose, and a Corrections report that lists every change we made and anything we couldn’t confirm. See a sample report or a sample spreadsheet file.

Which logbook apps do you support?

ForeFlight, LogTen and MyFlightbook import files, or a spreadsheet (CSV) that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Tell us which app you use when you ask for a quote.

How do I send my paper books?

After you accept and pay the deposit, mail them with any tracked carrier, and put a prepaid return shipping label in the box. You pay shipping both ways. Scanning costs $0.25 a page, with a $25 minimum, and your books come back with your label when the job is done. How to send your logbooks

Price and timing

How is the price worked out?

You pay per flight line, meaning each flight entry, not per page. Your quote is based on your own estimate. The final bill counts the lines actually in your logbook, so it can go up or down.

We take a 50% deposit to start, and the balance is due on delivery. Texas clients add Texas sales tax. See Pricing for the full list.

What’s the difference between Standard and Audited?

On a Standard order, a trained reviewer checks each page against your original scan, and you get the Corrections report.

An Audited order adds a senior reviewer, who audits the finished pages before delivery. Only Audited orders get the senior audit.

How long does it take?

5 business days for logbooks up to 1,500 lines and 10 business days above that, counted from when we have your pages and deposit. Rush service (+50%) is available for books under 1,500 lines.

Can you keep my logbook up to date afterwards?

Yes. Monthly upkeep is $19 a month for up to 60 entries, or $39 for up to 150. Send each month’s pages and we add them to your digital logbook.

Accuracy and privacy

What if something on my pages is unclear?

We ask you instead of guessing. Anything we fix or can’t confirm is listed in your Corrections report, so you can see every change.

What if you got an entry wrong?

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we fix it free, and send you an updated file and Corrections report.

Will my digital logbook be perfect?

We check every page carefully, and the Corrections report shows you exactly what we changed. You stay responsible for your logbook, so look over the file before you rely on it, and keep your original paper books.

What happens to my scans?

Each client’s files are kept apart, and every time a scan is opened or downloaded, it’s logged. Your scans are deleted 90 days after we deliver your logbook.

Is LogClimb approved by the FAA?

No. LogClimb is an independent conversion service and is not approved or endorsed by the FAA or by any logbook app maker.
